Generating composites

In Aviation by Patrick

One of the things that I like most about photography, especially my aviation photography, is the ability to take those images and recreate something that is historically accurate in the form of a composite. Simply seeing historic war birds in flight is exhilarating enough, but taking those pictures and compiling them into a dogfight or naval battle is really fun. Tools used to complete this scene were Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC and nothing more that imagination. Often times I will used Nik’s Color Efex Pro to bleach bypass or apply a specific effect, but in this instance, only LR and PS were used to complete the final product. A step by step tutorial is on my Behance page.
