Nikon D6 Released

In Standard by Patrick

It has been a long time coming for Nikon toward their release of the D6, but it was finally released officially on 2.12.2020 with all the associated hoopla and fanfare.

I have written many posts on the potential specs of this camera in the past year all of which you can review here:

Nikon did up there game in many ways on this camera with features like, built ini GPS, Wi-Fi and the enhanced auto-focusing system. The majority of the reported rumors when this camera first leaked were almost spot on with a few misses. A phenomenal achievement, the Nikon D6 is a step up from its predecessor, the Nikon D5.

I am often tough on Nikon, and I have been critical of them at times, but I do feel they have at least matched there competition, Canon, with this release including features that photographers have been asking to have included for years. Whether or not this DSLR with its D6 designation will go the way of the venerable F6 as the last in its class remains to be seen. Pre-orders are now being taken and all major retailers.
