Braving the elements

Braving the elements

As a wildlife photographer, shooting in all kinds of weather conditions pretty much goes with the territory. One piece of equipment that I find invaluable is the Think Tank Hydrophobia for my long lens. IT keeps me shooting in the rain and protects my lens from sand or snow as well.

It’s main features are:

Key Features

  • Seam-sealed for extreme protection in downpour or dusty conditions
  • Compresses into an included compact carrying pouch
  • Oversize window to view your LCD and controls

Takes up very little room in my bag as it comes with a carrying case and it very water repellant. Although my gear is weather sealed, I have never had any issue with water getting into or on the lens and camer when using this emergency rain cover. It is essential gear when braving the elements.
