Below in the slideshow are some common configurations that could work with your decor. These are not all the sizes we offer. If you have a specific request, please reach out to me to discuss your needs.

Image resolution and print size

The process of determining print sizes is unique due to the large variety of sizes available for printing. Images with higher resolution will have more potential print sizes, while lower resolution images will have a limited range or may not be printable at all. My images are all 200 to 300. DPI to ensure the highest resolution for stunning reproducable images.

Choosing the right print size

Choosing the right print for your artwork can initially feel overwhelming, but with a few practical tips, you can make an informed decision that enhances your space. Whether you’re a seasoned art collector or a first-time buyer, understanding how to select the perfect print size is crucial for showcasing your favorite pieces effectively.

Measure your wall space

The first step in determining the ideal print size is to measure the wall space where you plan to hang the artwork. If you have a specific wall in mind, take accurate measurements to avoid any surprises later. A general rule of thumb for hanging artwork over furniture is to ensure that the print is no wider than the piece of furniture below it. This helps create a harmonious visual balance in the room. If you don’t have a specific wall or are not planning to hang the art over furniture, you can focus on the overall aesthetic you want to achieve in your space.

Visualize the size

Once you know your wall dimensions, explore the print size options available in my store. A helpful method is to use masking tape to outline various print sizes directly on your wall. This will give you a clear visual representation of how each size will occupy the space, helping you decide which size looks best. Think about the proportions of your room. Larger prints can create a bold statement and draw attention, while smaller prints may work better in more intimate settings or as part of a gallery wall.

Use our wall preview tool

Another fantastic resource available in my store is the “Wall Preview” tool. When you click on any photo, you’ll see the “Wall Preview” option to the right of the image. This tool allows you to visualize different print sizes in various room settings, such as a living room, bedroom, nursery, or office. You can even adjust wall colors to match your existing paint, ensuring that the artwork complements your decor perfectly. This feature is invaluable for understanding scale and making the best choice for your home.

Use our Augmented reality tool

For a truly immersive experience, take advantage of the AR-Augmented realty tool. This innovative feature lets you see how the artwork looks on your wall through your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Simply select the photo and size, and the AR tool will display it in your actual living space. You can take a screenshot to visualize how your new piece of art will enhance your home.

Consider the frame size

When ordering a framed print, remember that the finished framed size will be larger than the print size itself. The total size depends on the mat and frame you select. For example, a 16×24 print with a two-inch mat and a one-inch frame will result in a finished size of 22×30 inches. Always factor this into your planning to ensure it fits your intended space.

Big prints = Big impact

Don’t shy away from large prints; they can make a stunning impact on your walls. Many of my photographs can be printed at impressive sizes, up to 40×60 inches or even larger, depending on the image quality. Large prints, especially on canvas create a bold, glare-free visual effect that enhances the vibrancy of the artwork.
